Job Description:

Thisopportunityoffersvery rewarding and unique benefits, which equates to 50% of compensation on TOP of your base salary! The first part is a tax-qualified profit-sharing retirement plan, to which CACI annually contributes up to 25% of your base salary (not in excess of applicable IRS limits) to your retirement account. What You'll Get to Do:

As a Cloud Engineer, you will work closely with the Athena agile team to enable rapid delivery of capabilities through a secure Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline into production. You will be part of the team that builds and maintains the underlying system infrastructure, including cloud-based virtual machines, on-prem hardware and workstations, networking, and configuration management for a space common operating picture (COP). You will be a key member of the Athena team, where the rubber meets the road, doing work that supports some of the US Government's most critical space missions.

More About this Role:
  • Collaborate with a development team to accomplish established goals
  • Work with internal and external teams to understand integration needs
  • Create and maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs
  • Serve as a Software/Application Integrator, Implementer, and Tester
  • Ensure software and hardware are operating and running efficiently
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical virtual servers
  • Monitor system health and service performance including troubleshooting and debugging servers through both automated and manual processes
  • Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Design, develop, and implement infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
  • Create test automation frameworks in collaboration with team members
  • Develop processes to help increase functionality and efficiency of available infrastructure
  • Design and code software solutions that help automate manual processes
  • Some CONUS travel (3-4 trips per year, 3-5 days each)


You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a related field, from an accredited institution

Experience:
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, to include at least 2 years in Cloud Infrastructure or IT Service Management
  • Demonstrated (non-academic) experience in a similar role (day-to-day management as a contractor supporting a government enterprise IT environment)
  • Demonstrated experience defining measurable metrics to monitor progress


Required Skills:
  • Cloud Management in Amazon Web Services, Azure or equivalent
  • Kubernetes
  • DevSecOps pipeline tools (gitlab, SonarQube, Trivy, Ansible, others)
  • Python framework and Shell scripting
  • Container technology (Docker)
  • Secure OS configuration management (OS Hardening, Patch Installation)

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $54,900-$109,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
