CACI is currently looking for Product Architect with agile methodology experience to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia!

Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a member of the BEAGLE ASF Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation's safety, security, and prosperity. CBP agents and officers are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

ASF programs thrive in a culture of innovation and are constantly seeking individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural at the team and portfolio levels. The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial.

You should have worked with or have a strong interest in agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints.

Must Have:
  • Minimum 7 years of IT system development experience (across any stack or platform)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with UI Builder, Service Portal, Custom Scoped Applications
  • Experience managing the workload / priorities of others (as tech lead)
  • Experience with breaking down large user requirements into smaller stories / tasks and then ensuring developers can build out.
  • Experience designing architectural solutions against existing approved standards, policies, and procedures

Nice To Have:
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist or Certified Master Architect
  • Experience working in Agile environment. Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily stand-ups with team to ensure tasks are assigned to developers based on skill and expertise.
  • Lead new solution design sessions and assist in ensuring the roadmap is up to date and work is prioritized
  • Resolves architectural and platform uncertainties through prioritization and planning.
  • Work with Business Analyst to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work with external such as Security, Testing, Privacy and Shared Services on non-functional requirements, as needed, such as security, performance, records management, logging, monitoring, auditing, reporting
  • Work to ensure data accuracy and accessibility

Additional Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include but are not limited to:
    • 3-year check for felony convictions
    • 1 year check for illegal drug use
    • 1 year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years delivering software products in a complex, enterprise environment
  • Takes a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience leading groups of people through discussions, technical or otherwise.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $101,800-$218,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
