General Description:

CACI's Agile Solution Factory (ASF) is looking for an experienced Agile Scrum Master to support a key CACI Department of Defense (DoD) Program.

We are looking for talented individual to join our technically diverse team responsible for application sustainment which includes new and enhanced functions and features, as well as defect analysis and fix.

We are looking for an experienced Agile Scrum Master that recommends and applies creative ideas to solve complex challenges, both technical and procedural. You will work as an integral part of an Agile Scrum team-a highly productive team of technical professionals who thrive on supporting the customer's mission and growth objectives through Agile software development. You will work in close collaboration with team members, other product teams, shared services teams such as cybersecurity, and other stakeholders within agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Serves as the contractor's authorized project interface with project stakeholders, including, government personnel, and customer agency representatives. Responsible for facilitating delivery of customer-defined software development projects; basic responsibilities include:

  • Acting as ScrumMaster for 2 scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams toward improving the way they work; Facilitating sprint planning, retrospective and demos.
  • Acting as product manager and assisting the product owner and business analyst with managing the product backlog
  • Removing all obstacles to project team efficiency and effectiveness; reaching out to the larger organizational network for impediment removal; ensuring cross-team coordination.
  • Maintaining relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing.
  • Coaching and mentoring other Scrum Masters on our program team. Partnering to ensure that our ways of working are consistent across teams.
  • Liaising between developers and project stakeholders; fostering quality communication between engineering disciplines.
  • Acting as a Scrum Master, taking responsibility for managing product releases and dependencies between teams and third parties or between assigned teams and other Scrum teams.
  • Managing and tracking project finances.
  • Support development of product roadmaps Strengthening the presence of the team as an Agile center of excellence. Actively contributing to the organization Agile Community.
  • Analyzing new and complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing for assigned projects or tasks, developing personnel.
  • Providing appropriate oversight to engineers, analysts, and support personnel.
  • Scheduling and allocating work, providing advice and guidance, and resolving problems to meet technical performance and financial objectives.
  • Developing new and refining existing process to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Reviewing and evaluating work of staff and preparing periodic performance reports.
  • Ensuring product quality and timeliness of efforts.


Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, with an active secret DoD security clearance
  • College degree (B.S., M.S.) in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years related technical experience
  • Certified ScrumMaster/Scrum Practitioner with experience with Scrum teams and use of continuous integration tools and techniques in test-driven development
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong software development background, with a minimum of three (3) solid years' experience facilitating incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach
  • Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management
  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic; self-starter
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Solution-based thinker; capable of resolving complex technical challenges and works well with limited oversight
