Aptive is seeking a Program Manager who is a highly experienced resource to manage a large BPA to provide tactical and strategic support of FDA's near and long-term strategic activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the program manager typically responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations.
- Provide overall direction of program activities.
- Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization.
- Consult with FDA and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.
- Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers
- Organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates.
- Oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-10 years of federal and/or healthcare consulting and/or program management experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to work onsite in Silver Spring, MD as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Demonstrated ability to work in PowerPoint and quantitative strengths in the creation of detailed analytical models using Excel and various tools.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing program budgets and large teams.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Experience with FDA and/or HHS.
- Strategic thinker with a drive to get all types of work done and a high attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to communicate across all mediums and settings; superior consulting abilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning, organizational designs, change management, policy, risk management, performance management, knowledge management, trainig, coaching and mentoring.
- PMP preferred.
