Job Description
POSITION INFORMATION:
Job Purpose:
• To supervise Mailers, Helpers, Utility Mailers and Inserters in the performance of their duties.
• To run the office, handling administrative functions.
• To maintain a safe work environment
• To operate collator and SLS machinery
Tasks Performed:
• Complete various end-of-shift productivity reports
• Manage timecards and payroll
• Monitor press lines and palletizer operations
• Bring problems to the attention of the staff
• Operate computers
• Answer or make telephone calls; communicate with other departments
• Take inventory at end of shift
• Recognize and solve problems on the operations floor
• Clear the stacker; clear paper jams
• Admit inserters to the facility based on required hire
• Adjust stacker settings
• Place stacks of papers on the conveyor belt, or remove them from the conveyor belt
• Stack bundles and skids
• Push/pull stacks of papers on metal carts
