  • You will provide input that is utilized by high ranking military officers and senior civilian officials who oversee the Navy Nuclear Deterrent Mission (NNDM).
  • You will lead the NNDM regulatory effort in oversight of echelon 1 and 2 commands with SSBN Strategic Weapons System (SWS).
  • You will assess NNDM echelon 1 and 2 input and prepares consolidated metrics in the areas of NNDM SWS/NWS Operations, Acquisition, Resourcing, Policy, and Maintenance.
  • You will monitor information regarding issues that affect the NNDM in order to identify trends, risks, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts.
  • You will serve as the OPNAV CNO NNDM Regulator Branch's assistant program analyst for SWS and NWS areas within the larger NNDM.
  • You will lead the NNDM regulatory effort in oversight of echelon 1 and 2 commands with Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS) Operations, Acquisition, Resourcing, Policy, Maintenance and supporting facilities/infrastructure responsibilities

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.


Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: operational and data analysis experience with Navy SSBN, nuclear weapons, and related systems to include coordinating with outside agencies to assess the readiness and sustainability of fleet NNDM operations.
