FORECAST DIRECTOR

Forecast Director, Oncology for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP / Gaithersburg, MD (Remote work permissible w/in commutable distance fr work site) (FT M-F). Lead forecasting process for key brands w/in U.S. Oncology portfolio. Dvlp product-specific short-term & long-term fin'l forecasts & provide critical insights into mrkt risks & opportunities that may impact performance. Must have BA deg or for equiv in Econ., Finance, Mktg, Statistics, or a rel + 5 yrs of prog resp exp in role off'd or a rel. Employer will accept MS deg in a stated field in lieu of BA deg.. Must have 5 yrs of prog resp exp w/: Bldg & forecasting models, incl product-specific long-term & short-term models that reflect current data, bus. strategy & patient journey, using forecasting techniques, incl patient flow modeling & statistical trending; Managing assumption evaluation to optimize bus. outputs & drive bus. decisions models for mrkt'd &/or pre-launch pharmaceutical products; Interpreting info from pharmaceutical data sources, incl IMS, IQVIA, claims, EMR, & Specialty Pharmacy. Interpreting info from epidemiological data, incl Kantar & DRG, & primary mrkt research, advanced analytics, & competitive intelligence approaches; Bldg supply projections for demand capacity planning & volume optimization; Evaluating bus. dvlpmt & licensing opportunities to drive investment decisions; Managing large cross-functional finance & commercial workstreams driving strategic & tactical decisions; & Performing data analysis & mrkt research to inform product performance & strategy.
