The Project Manager (PM) provides leadership and management to a high visibility project supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with counter-small Unmanned Aerial Systems capabilities. The PM will work with multi-functional teams, subcontractors, our government customer, and government SETAs to perform full lifecycle project management activities. Additionally, the PM will oversee the fielding and operational sustainment of the C-sUAS capabilities at various installations within CONUS.

More About the Role:

As the PM, the successful candidate will provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership. The PM serves as the Government's primary POC and provides overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel, including assigning taskings to contractor personnel, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing overall performance to ensure optimal use of assigned resources and subcontractors. The PM is ultimately responsible for the quality and efficiency of the project, to include both technical issues and businesses processes. The PM shall ensure requirements of the project are performed. The PM shall be responsible for regularly briefing leadership on program status and milestones.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of Project Management experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing projects providing mission capability to the Government.
  • Experience performing manpower utilization, procurement of materials and equipment, standards, training, problem resolution, and employee relations (including subcontractors, cost, budget, and managing to milestones).
  • Possess a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • PMI, Project Management Professional, DAWIA Program Management Level III certification or Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC P/PM) Level 3.
  • Possess a minimum of three years of experience in an IC, military, or other Government environment performing in a related subject area (e.g., project management, engineering, computer science) to that of the TO

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Project Management / Acquisition disciplines
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency concepts
  • Familiarity and understanding of DoD Property Management, Logistics, etc.
