The CEBCP carries out this mission by advancing rigorous studies in criminal justice and criminology through research-practice collaborations, and proactively serving as an informational and translational link to practitioners and the policy community.About the HIDTA Program:The HIDTA Program is a federal grant program administered by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) to provide resources that assist federal, state, local, and tribal agencies to coordinate activities that address drug trafficking in specifically designated areas of the United States. Information and intelligence sharing are keys to successful investigations, drug treatment and prevention programs, and drug policy development.About the Position:The purpose of the Procurement & Security Specialist position is to assist the Procurement & Security Manager with managing all aspects of the Physical Security of three facilities, intelligence equipment maintenance and training, inventory control, procurement and facilitating the wireless telecommunications program operation. Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED;Demonstrated communication skills and organizational skills with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness of work;Ability to comprehend and put in use the different procurement policies and procedures for our fiduciaries, law enforcement agencies, and ONDCP;Possess a working knowledge of voice, photo, and video equipment;Demonstrated computer familiarity and the ability to complete data entry with minimal supervision;Ability to engage in collaborative strategic sourcing;Because the work is in a law enforcement environment, you may be required to work weekends and holidays if needed;Due to the nature of the work, the ability to pass a law enforcement sensitive background investigation and obtain a government issued Secret Level Security Clearance is required; andMust hold a valid motor vehicle license and be willing to travel between various W/B HIDTA locations.THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN BALTIMORE, MD.
