Venturi, LLC, a Chenega company has an exciting career opportunity for an Advanced Test Support Engineer who will perform important work supporting Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Test Support Contract. This individual performs duties critical to achieving MDA mission success, protecting national security and securing and ensuring the safety of our warfighters.

Venturi plays a vital role in providing test support for Missile Defense Agency's Directorate for Test (MDA/DT) for activities governing the entire test lifecycle. These activities include planning, development, implementation, sustainment, execution, analysis, and assessment of testing and test-related functions. Test-related functions include test processes, procedures, plans, policies, and activities related to test resources and infrastructure. This support includes developmental and operational system and component flight tests, ground tests, cyber tests, wargames, and exercises in accordance with (IAW) applicable MDA and Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines. This also includes test resources and the infrastructure required to conduct these activities. This support also augments the development of enterprise and program (element-specific) policies, plans, processes, and procedures, the implementation of guidance, and the interpretation of internal and external agency regulations, policies, directives, and other related documents.


Work you'll do

As an Advanced Test Support Engineer within our Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Test Support team, you will:
  • Provide flight test event planning, coordination, and execution support to ensure flight tests are sufficient to achieve test objectives
  • Support mission directors, and element test directors in coordinating with test assets on mission planning and execution tasks
  • Generate flight test planning and execution products, including schedules, test plans, test director checklists, event logs, status reports, etc.
  • Interact and coordinate with test assets to ensure technical accuracy, interoperability, test range support, and warfighter participation
  • Deploy to test ranges and provide on-site support during test execution activities, as requested by the government
  • Collect, track, and close action items as needed
  • Participate in coordination and technical meetings
  • Prepare readiness review and executive briefings
  • Other duties as assigned


  • MS degree in an engineering field OR
  • BS degree in an engineering field with 5+ years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the MS degree requirement
  • 10+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience with DoD test processes and/or test execution desired
  • Proficient in MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication proficiency
  • Active secret security clearance
  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief
  • Working knowledge of the Ballistic Missile Defense System components and mission
  • Familiarity with DoD and MDA processes and procedures
  • Must possess in-depth knowledge practical and theoretical technical/engineering
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment while coordinating with multiple organizations and leadership
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication skills to independently develop technical white papers, briefings, etc., as required by the customer to communicate complex technical issues across MDA Engineering Directorate
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to travel 10-20% to CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with DoD test processes and/or test execution
  • Experience with Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) testing
