Venturi, LLC., A Chenega Company, has an exciting opportunity for anIntermediate Systems Analystwho will lead and execute analytical tasks, utilizing both analytical techniques and processes for complex development and operational programs, relevant program analytical principles, and practices for developmental and operational programs. TheAdvanced Systems Analystwill be capable of working independently or leading teams to solve problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze initial component test designs and operational test requirements.
  • Lead the development of test procedures, data collection procedures, and post mission reporting in support of suitability, survivability, safety, and effectiveness assessment.
  • Lead, coordinate, and develop test requirements and objectives.
  • Analyze and assess weapon system performance, verification, validation, and reporting.
  • Lead system flight and element level test resource infrastructure requirements.
  • Coordinate future requirements, technical analyses, and assessments of alternate ranges and test facilities for the conduct of Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) testing, to include evaluating feasibility of planned scenarios as it pertains to system and element test execution.
  • Coordinate future requirements, technical analyses, and assessments of alternate ranges and test facilities for the conduct of BMDS testing, including evaluating feasibility of planned scenarios as it pertains to system and element test execution.
  • Coordinate and consolidate identified requirements with test ranges and forward based test centers, including infrastructure, instrumentation, auxiliary sensors, new facility development, and/or modifications to existing facilities.
  • Lead the implementation of BMDS Test Policy and test functional management approach, including preparation, review for Foreign Disclosure Release, and execution of critical test documentation.
  • Develop, integrate, and de-conflict the detailed flight test event execution plans for an integrated tactical and strategic BMDS test picture.
  • Maintain a fully integrated Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Test Data set, conduct analysis specifically focused on 2nd/3rd order effects of element critical paths, and evaluate impacts to overall mission success with key focus on providing data and information regarding issues.
  • May be required to provide daily supervision and employee recruiting, development, and retention in compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • May be responsible for management of program cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • Master of Science or Master of Arts degree
  • The government will consider a BA/BS from an accredited institution of higher learning in a related field with 20+ years of experience in lieu of the MA/MS degree requirement.
  • 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs/projects
  • Secret clearance required

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work independently and/or lead teams to analyze and resolve problems
  • Must be able to provide daily supervision and direction to support teams.
  • Working knowledge of weapons system components and mission.
  • Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment while coordinating with multiple organizations and leadership.
  • Proficient with Microsoft software applications.
  • Ability to execute and complete tasks without supervision.
  • Ability to lead a team of contractors in the completion of projects and tasks.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
