The Marketing Manager develops marketing campaigns, communications materials, and implementation strategies that support the AgeTech Collaborative's B2B organizational objectives. Ensures own projects are consistent and aligned with overall marketing strategies for key ecosystem audiences: enterprises, startups, investors and testbeds. Partners with internal teams such as Startup Programming, Customer Success and Design Thinking to develop and prioritize marketing plan elements. Tracks and assesses campaign results and adjusts marketing strategies and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions. Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline marketing processes and to develop new procedures that support the business unit/department.

Responsibilities

  • Supports internal and/or external teams and clients by creating proposals, presentations, and other materials using product/program information, data, and media insights. Assists with planning, creation, and execution of various strategic marketing communications.
  • Consults and collaborates with cross-functional teams, colleagues, and leadership to ensure the effective and timely execution and management of assigned programs or campaigns.
  • Monitors the competitive landscape and market trends to identify new opportunities for the organization to shape products, programs, and/or services most relevant to the target audience.
  • Provides guidance on marketing best practices and campaign strategies to colleagues and/or external partners, as necessary. Advises campaign stakeholders about next steps, opportunities, and risks based on best practices and lessons learned.
  • Monitors, reviews, and measures campaign performance, proactively communicating and elevating lessons learned to key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the target audience(s), their unique wants, needs, and perceptions, and how they engage with the organization in order to execute strategies that deliver most relevant offerings and communications to consumers in the channel of their choice.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years digital marketing experience with 2+ years B2B marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience across multiple marketing disciplines i.e., marketing communications, PR, sales/channel enablement
  • Proven ability to design marketing communications programs, including strategy, tactical plan, test design, creative execution, operations plan etc.
  • Experience in operational details of agency management and campaign execution to include data analytics
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet high standards for quality and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have sound business judgment in project prioritization

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)

AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
