Summary

Database Maintenance Administrator (Maximo Focus) will develop and maintain COTS application programs, achieve functional goals, and enhance program maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop software programs requiring a thorough knowledge of high-level programming languages and Web technologies, like SQL Server Management Studio, .NET, Java, VB, PowerShell, WebSphere, IIS Administration, SharePoint Designer, and server operating systems to accomplish detailed information processing.
  
• Assure that associated program design documentation, including narrative definition, operating instructions, and data definitions are completed in a timely manner and maintained at current levels of change.
  
• Work with Cybersecurity staff to provide Secure Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) assessment checklists and documentation required for network system accreditations.
  
• Implement programs and provide training to customers on the capabilities and utilization of application programs, including methods to acquire the needed information.
  
• Support implementation and customization of Maximo as an enterprise asset management and reporting solution.
  
• Manage the development performance criteria and execute and advise the customer regarding all development requirements.
  
• Create and improve existing Maximo applications to enhance current operations.
  
• Lead and manage development by providing daily direction and technical acumen to maintain awareness of product enhancements.
  
• Recommend, develop, and expand usage of under-utilized Maximo functions and ancillary software products which sustain daily operations.
  
• Manage the Maximo Security Model, including adding users, groups, and group permissions, etc.
  
• Maintain awareness of service solutions, upcoming software releases, and patches.
  
• Ensure that technical services, like screen changes, data load/migration, and custom programming are delivered as scheduled.
  
• Develop requirements documents and solutions for project documents.
  
• Conduct Maximo account maintenance actions.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
  
• 3+ years of professional experience
  
• MS SQL Server 2016 training
  
• Maximo application training
  
• DOD 8570.01M IAT II IA certification
  
• Secret clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
