This position is part time with flexible hours. The duties of the bookkeeper include maintaining key accounting records via entering data with in-house accounting software. Experience with Accounts payable posting and paying invoices by check and online and cash management. Payroll and all required payroll filings: Federal and State (PA, MD, DC, VA, NC), 401k and Cafeteria Plan. Sales taxes, 15 states, filing frequencies from monthly to annual. Other state and local issues, annual property and franchise taxes, unclaimed property and corporation reporting. Period reports management, daily and weekly status reports, monthly financial statements.
