Research Scientist/Engineer - Wireless Cyber CenterThe George Mason University Wireless Cyber Center within the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC), invites applications for a Research Scientist/Engineer for Wireless Communications to conduct research in the FutureG Wireless Testbed. Researchers will carry out research in developing advanced wireless communication systems with integration of reconfigurable antennas, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, mmWave frontend, and digital beamformers.Required Qualifications:US citizen or permanent resident;MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or a related field with a communications and networking background;Hands-on experience with experimental research in wireless communications and with testbeds;Solid background in wireless communication;Demonstrated ability to working effectively with on a diverse team; andProven strong communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with reconfigurable antennas and intelligent surfaces; andExperience with 5G and Beyond 5G technology.Mason Engineering and Computing: The Future of Engineering and Computing is HereThe College of Engineering and Computing at George Mason University is comprised of the Volgenau School of Engineering and the School of Computing.
