Accounting Clerk

Our client in the federal government industry is seeking an Accounting Clerk to provide financial and analytical support. The Accounting Clerk will audit employee travel vouchers, monitoring tracking of travel voucher submission and payment. If this sounds like you we are looking for someone with experience handling invoices and/or travel expenses. This is an administrative/clerical position.

Candidate must be able to:

• Provides junior financial analytical support
• Performing duties such as auditing employee travel vouchers; monitoring tracking of travel voucher submission and payments
• Monitoring required training of travel card holders
• Monitoring training of travel authorizing officials
• Filing and scanning of travel vouchers/invoices

Qualifications:

• Associates or bachelors degree in accounting
• Recent college grad preferred
• Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables (light duties)
• Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
