Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Fitness Center Program Manager who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Fitness Center Program Manager you will:
• Partner with LifeWork Strategies to promote a culture of well-being that addresses the specific health needs of the client's employee population.
• Provide fulltime, on-site management and oversee the operations of Adventist HealthCare's on-site fitness program(s).
• Work to provide customer support, program implementation and evaluation. .
• Develop, coordinate, and implement programs to ensure ongoing member engagement.
• Lead member recruitment and marketing initiatives to maximize outreach and increase enrollment.
• Manage the member enrollment and cancellation process
• Ensure the safety of participants by evaluating employees' readiness for physical activity prior to beginning an exercise program.
• Provides superior customer service to members and clients, while ensuring facility rules and AHC policies are followed.
• Ensure facility cleanliness, adequate supplies, and maintenance of equipment.
• Develop and implement safe and effective exercise programs.
• Track and report on facility utilization, program participation and outcomes. •Maintain accurate records for membership, equipment maintenance, equipment utilization, etc.
• Manage an operational budget and perform regular membership audits to ensure accurate revenue being received from membership dues.
• Proficiency in fitness assessment and exercise prescription
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with schedule to meet program needs

Qualifications Include:
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Public Health, Athletic Training or related field required
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications from the American Heart Association
Active accredited fitness certification (ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NSCA, NASM, NCSF, NCCPT)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in health/fitness field
• Ability to work independently
• Strong creative and technical skills
• Ability to create and implement efficient processes and identify areas for process improvement
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects independently or in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Must demonstrate a commitment to teamwork
