Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Senior Benefits Specialist for our Human Resource Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Senior Benefits Specialist you will:

• Administer a comprehensive benefits package to meet the needs of a changing workforce.
• Research and analyze issues with healthcare plans, including medical, dental, vision and disability insurance.
• Advise and assist employees with resolving benefits issues.
• Plan, develop, evaluate benefits plans for employee satisfaction.
• Assist employees by explaining benefits in a comprehensive manner
• Coordinate employee enrollment at hire and annually
• Help to ensuring benefits plans are cost-effective and competitive.
• Ensuring company is compliant with state and federal laws.
• Support Annual Enrollment project and benefit plan year transitions

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3-5 years HR experience
• Benefits administration experience preferred
• SHRM or HRCI Certification (not required)
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Must have prior HR and Benefits experience
• Must be comfortable with numbers for quantitative analysis
• Must be detail-oriented as to understand how benefits fits into the overall objectives of the organization
• Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and analytic skills
• Advanced knowledge and experience with use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time
• Advanced knowledge and experience navigating HR programs

Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
