Job Summary:
Westat has a new opportunity for an Internal Controls Analyst, reporting to the Internal Controls Manager. Your responsibilities will include process mapping, policy development and writing, training development and monitoring and emerging process onboarding for the Finance organization. You are a highly accountable Risk Management professional with Second or Third line of defense experience with a proven track record of success in corporate initiatives or projects and will use your knowledge of internal controls in this role.
This is a remote position within the US with core hours of 10am-3pm EST.
Job Responsibilities:
• Policy development and writing
• Process map development
• Formal training development and monitoring
• Emerging process onboarding
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business
• 3-5 years of experience
• Strong Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Visio
• Prior policy development, writing experience and prior process mapping experience
• Prior training development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior mid-to large size organization experience
• Prior second or third line of defense experience
Minimum Qualifications:
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients
• Detail Oriented
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, teams, and SharePoint.
