George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff, and strongly encourages candidates to apply who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment.About the Department:Integrated Enrollment Marketing (IEM) creates, maintains, executes, and assesses multi-channel marketing and communications plans to support and enhance the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of new students to the university.About the Position:This position is an integral part of the enrollment marketing department and focuses on creation of written and visual content to support the overall enrollment goals of the university.Responsibilities:The Enrollment Marketing Coordinator supports the Integrated Enrollment Marketing office in the following areas:Developing and creating compelling written and visual content addressing key themes across the undergraduate recruitment cycle. Customizing content by channel and audience;Informing and implementing the creative and visual strategy, emphasizing multiplatform assets and coordinating efforts of student and part-time staff in this area;Assisting with the development of creative assets for digital ad campaigns and coordinating with vendors;Contributing editorial and graphics expertise to development of new initiatives and creative projects;Serving as liaison to Office of University Branding, as well as to a variety of recruitment and marketing stakeholders across the university; andDeveloping and maintaining creative asset inventories across creative, project management and CRM tools.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, public relations, or related concentration; or equivalent combination of education and experience;Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines;Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community, including senior-level administrators;Excellent writing and editing skills; andDemonstrated experience with visual content creation for print or web.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated high degree of independence and initiative;Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively on a team;Relevant experience in marketing, advertising, or design;Experience with HootSuite, Canva, and Adobe Suite;Knowledge of higher education admissions cycles; andExperience working within a CRM, preferably Salesforce.
