Sr. Business Analyst- ATM & Cash Channel

The Capital One ATM & Cash Channel is looking for a well qualified ATM industry practitioner to lead improvement efforts for the ATM monitoring and dispatching capability. The primary goal of this role is to execute and improve the ATM monitoring strategy for Capital One's ATM fleet. Capital One currently has 1900 ATMs throughout its national banking footprint. The fleet offers both cash withdraw and enhanced image deposit functionality with additional capabilities coming in the near future.

Our Business Analyst analyze channel data and partner with Capital One IT, 3rd party suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement efforts, and to improve the quality of the ATM performance and customer experience of Capital One's ATM fleet.

This is a fast paced operational environment, so the ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities, is extremely detail oriented and analytical, and is comfortable communicating with a broad audience including senior stakeholders as well as 3rd party suppliers.

The roles and responsibilities for this position include the following:

Monitoring Strategy:
  • Support ATM & Cash Management in achieving a well managed status for ATM Monitoring performance
  • Work with team to realize the monitoring strategy and opportunity roadmap to optimize the existing hardware performance while we deploy new ATM capabilities
  • Maintain relationships with key partners and suppliers to ensure teams are in sync with future direction


Measurement & Research:
  • Develop monitoring metrics and dashboards to measure and publish fleet performance
  • Experienced in Excel macro development and data analysis
  • Able to utilize and able to run SAS Enterprise Guide scripts
  • Able to create data tables and extract from data warehouse using SQL queries
  • Develop reporting improvement methods as shifts in fleet make up and capabilities occur
  • Support Channel with data analysis and reporting needs


Implementation:
  • Manage the deliver and implementation of the new monitoring initiatives through execution, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders
  • Identify and implement Value Stream based process improvements to improve customer experience and increase Bank efficiency


Skills:
  • Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management
  • Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: He/she should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business
  • Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
  • Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in analysis

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
  • 1+ years of experience in market research
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis
  • 1+ years of experience in consulting
