Duties

  • You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist providing complex management advisory and technical services in support of Information Systems and associated applications.
  • You will serve as the technical advisor and software/systems analyst responsible for performing duties related to the design, development, integration, testing and management of automated systems submitted to the division for analysis.
  • You will serve as the customer liaison, providing administrative direction on work that involves the planning and delivery of customer support services, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training.
  • You will provide technical advice on risks that involves applying analytical processes to the planning, design and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations.
  • You will perform work that involves the planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and management of the systems environment and applications in support of the organization's IT architecture and business needs.
  • You will perform other duties as assigned.

  • You may be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Experience and knowledge analyzing/performing work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, or modify systems and applications for solving problems or accomplishing work processes by using computers.

2) Experience and knowledge in applying technical knowledge of the five disciplines of the Information Mission Area (IMA) in order to evaluate systems as they relate to the functional interrelationships from the common technological they share.

3) Experience and knowledge assessing management information requirements, compartmental data, input/output transactions, disk storage requirements, processing requirements, response times, and types of hardware and software
