Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer 3 to serve on an agile software team developing next-generation tradecraft to meet the missions most pressing cybersecurity needs. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and enchaining complex and diverse software systems (eg, processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolving software problem reports. Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery. Additional Information: Work performed in contractor facility in Annapolis Junction. Required Qualifications: TS/SCI Polygraph Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree. Requirements: Experience with Splunk architectures, crafting ingests capabilities, data modeling, solutions development, and dashboard designing Proficiency with Java Proficiency with Node.js, Javascript, or Vue.js Experience with Python Experience with Ghostmachine Experience with GitLab CI/CD Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with ElasticSearch Familiarity with cloud platform AWS or Azure Familiarity with Kanban agile approach and GitLab Issue Boards Familiarity with Kuberbetes, Docker and Helm in Linux Benefits: Healthcare - Comprehensive medical benefits program that offers a wide variety of coverage options to includeCompany-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) -Employees are eligible for 240 hours of leave (Holidays, Vacation Days and your Birthday).
