A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Network Engineer in Sterling, Virginia (VA).Responsibilities include:* Responsible for maintaining two data centers via Cisco VXLAN technology* Senior Network Engineer is responsible for monitoring and support of network and security infrastructure* Responsible for Palo Alto firewall technical leadership and system administration* Senior Network Engineer is responsible for Splunk Enterprise technical leadership and system administration* Responsible for responding to operational incidents* Collect, analyze, and report on operational metrics* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience* 4-6 years of experience in a Cisco network engineering role* Ability to perform analysis with limited supervision* Ability to create system diagrams and documentation* Good oral and written communication skills are requiredKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
