Primary Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert ( SME ) and point of contact for escalated legal matters in vendor contracting, including NDAs, data exchange agreements, vendor service agreements, network access agreements, strategic alliances; collaboration arrangements; granting instruments; service level agreements; and intercompany financial transactions Prepare and maintain government required regulatory appendices for subcontractors and coordinate with regulatory and compliance personnel to meet filing obligations Provide regulatory and compliance guidance for each transaction with a keen understanding of health care law, finance, insurance company and department of health regulations, HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and exchange business Offer recommendations and provide ancillary support for audits and market exams, government customer filing and notice requirements; licensure or financial risk restrictions, et al. Required Qualifications: Juris Doctorate 4+ years of experience associated with license to practice law Ability to assess risk for company for each transaction and memorialize long-term best practices that provide strategic direction and issue identification for similar future transactions Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $113,500 to $218,100.
