OVERVIEW:The focus of this position is to work closely with the business partners to understand business objectives, processes, and context to provide high-level support and implement system improvements. The activities include but are not limited to end-user support, training, system maintenance, functional documentation, and testing.This position, part of the internal IT team, is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of these systems including upgrades, patching, installations, debugging issues, working with end users and functional teams to implement solutions and address issues.GENERAL DUTIES:Implement user and security roles in compliance with defined procedures.Provide functional application support to users of Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense and Costpoint BI applications and processes.Lead business process reviews to explore improvement targets, to capture requirements, and to compile cost/benefit analyses.Deliver configuration changes related to new capabilities, integrations, and process changes.Maintain, administer, and support Costpoint, Time & Expense (T), including maintenance, and overall health of the production and development environments.Maintain a working knowledge of the front-end application screens, functions, and job processing, and how they tie to the database tables and other applications, functions, and processes.Collaborate with functional managers in Finance, Talent Management, Operations, and Operations Support departments to ensure the systems meet their needs.Ensure adherence to the internal controls for compliance with the SOX and DCAA audits.Provide guidance, training, and support on core application functionality.Manage user setup, permissions, and workflows.Troubleshoot, repair, and escalate user issues.Create and maintain application documentation, standards, and procedures.Evaluate and recommend new technologies and related tools.Function as part of the IT Team supporting enterprise and user needs, as required.Serve as a Costpoint domain authority within Corporate and Federal Business Technology.Develop testing plans for Costpoint and T for use in upgrade testing.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Accounting Information Systems, or IT field required12+ years of overall experience in Information Technology or Accounting Information Systems4+ years prior experience with Deltek/Costpoint systems as a functional expert and/or administrator, including an understanding of Costpoint tables, relationships, core structures, modules, and functionalityPrior experience in systems administrationGood working knowledge of databases and SQL Querying (MS SQL)Experience leading operations for Costpoint implementations, including:Core modules and data structuresApplication architecture and integration with other products.Ability to communicate and interact effectively as a member of a team and with multiple levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendorsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills, ability to meet deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skills in technical work environments.Attention to detail, organization, and high level of accuracy.Ability to work independently on rapid development programs.Less than 10% domestic travelThe selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Accounting or accounting systems background.Experience with Deltek Cloud.Familiarity with Ceridian/Dayforce is desirableKnowledge of Costpoint BI/Cognos Reporting.Web Integration Methods/Modules and Extensibility.Able to quickly adapt to evolving priorities and timelines.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.CLEARANCE:US Citizenship minimum
