We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist, Lifecycle Marketing to join the subscriptions marketing team. You will be responsible for executing lifecycle campaigns tailored to global readers that deepen loyalty and prevent subscriber churn. You have a can-do attitude and impeccable attention to detail.



Responsibilities include
  • Assist with the development of and execute automated lifecycle marketing journeys and one-off campaigns across our marketing channels in order to engage and retain active subscribers, with a special focus on email marketing.
  • Test and improve on-site flows for subscription upgrade, cancellation, and reactivation to maximize subscriber retention-working closely with The Post's digital product development team.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science to monitor campaigns and/or develop reports, metrics, and analysis of marketing programs to demonstrate ROI and/or program effectiveness.
  • Consistently launch and monitor experiments and communicate results to the wider organization.
  • Manage the email marketing calendar to ensure projects are executed on time and in line with the team goals.
  • Master our marketing tools to leverage full capability across our website, mobile app, and emails.
  • Deliver regular analysis on our competitors as well as new trends in email marketing to help The Post stay ahead of industry changes and advances.



Requirements include:
  • 3 - 4 years of professional experience in digital media, marketing, or ecommerce is required. Specific experience with subscription-based business models and/or digital marketing is preferred.
  • Proficiency using digital analytics tools and Microsoft Excel to measure the impact of marketing campaigns, determine the outcomes of A/B tests, and identify performance trends.
  • Proficiency with an ESP.
  • A knack for using data to make decisions.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • A can-do attitude. We are looking for someone who wants to jump right in and learn.
