The System Float Pool - RN is a Registered Nurse reporting directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the RN is responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care to specific patient populations. The RN demonstrates professionalism, adheres to the ANA standards of practice, exemplifies the Adventist Healthcare values and fulfills our nursing mission and vision.

Qualifications include:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate
of Science degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Valid Maryland RN license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required. Other certifications may be required depending on specialty area
• Two (2) years of current experience in acute hospital nursing

Must maintain all mandatory competencies as outlined in the hospital
competency plan and according to the job description as well as Annual
Mandatory Education Requirements

Work Schedule:

Nurses are to be licensed in the State of Maryland to practice nursing. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in acute hospital nursing. One year must be in the specialty ED/ICU/OR/Med Surg Must maintain all mandatory competencies as outlined in the hospital competency plan and according to the job description as well as Annual Mandatory Education Requirements
