Description My client is an evolving and successful organization with a need for a Human Resources Business Partner committed to developing and executing HR and administrative programs that align with the organization's priorities. The ideal candidate will be interested in building out a department and implementing new policies and ideas to improve structure. The Human Resources Business Partner should be an ambitious and driven self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities under the organization's senior leadership. A successful candidate will have excellent people skills and management skills with the ability to learn fast, and implement change where needed. The candidate should provide all aspects of HR support to managers and employees and be able to develop and recommend best practices in shaping the overall HR strategy for the company.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES. Administer and implement benefit plans in compliance with plan documents and applicable . federal and state law.. Monitor benefit expenditures including reconciliation of enrollment/invoices, and identifying trends in claims, vendor service levels and employee satisfaction.. Investigate accidents and prepares reports for insurance carriers.. Evaluate current benefit or compensation structures and suggest improvements or changes to . existing plans.. Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees and leadership teams at all levels . of the organization.. Handle employee relations and dispute resolution based on company policies and legal compliance. Process requests/and or professionally and confidentially investigate employment law issues to . include FMLA/WC/ADA, FLSA, OSHA, COBRA, ERISA.. Plan and conduct new employee orientation programs to foster positive attitudes toward company goals . Take the lead in planning and executing employee appreciation and recognition mechanisms. Requirements REQUIREMENTS. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred.. At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources with concentration in benefits administration and employee relations.. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role. Demonstrated knowledge of employment law.. Strong communication skills and ability to influence, lead and drive change.. Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with Management team and be a relationship builder for the overall employee workforce.. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.. HR/Payroll software to include data entry and routine and ad hoc report generation, ADP. Workforce Now experience preferred.
