We allow building occupants and owners to do what they do best -- focus on business, not buildings.Did you know we have been named a "Best Place to Work" by 'Washington Business Journal' 14 times?Sales Engineer (Equipment) Entry Level: Responsible for working with engineers and contractors in the design, application and sale of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings, and developing and maintaining long term relationships with our clients.Essential Duties:- Utilizes account management process to identify key clients and to develop specific action plans to grow identified accounts.- Identifies potential opportunities with existing and new clients.- Converts leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required project team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process.- Develops relationships with multiple buying influences in the client's organization, including project managers, project engineers, construction, purchasing, and accounts payable. - Gathers and validates preliminary information and performs facility walk-through, construction plan review or other requirements.- Determines project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet all of the client's HVAC system design and installation requirements. - Provides knowledge and consultation in the form of developing HVAC system related solutions for the client's problems, including financial and performance-based considerations. - Coordinates with Estimators in the interpretation of specifications and preparation of proposals. - Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, as required.- Other duties as assignedRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience- Able to attend Trane's 5 month Graduate Training program in La Crosse, WI- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills- Determined, motivated, self-starter, persistent, and confident- Problem solver with attention to detail, able to work independently, team player - Mobility within the office and job sites- Willing to travel locally as required- Frequent visits to job sites and able to climb laddersWe offer:- Excellent pay and benefits- Great and supportive work environment- Professional training and growth- Generous educational assistance program- Recognition and outstanding co-workers!If you are interested in joining the Boland team, please apply through the company website: want to hear from you!We are an equal opportunity employer.
