ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Responsible for designing and developing creative content and marketing products for the Company.Responsible for implementing and stewarding the social media strategy across multiple platforms.Track web and social media analytics.Maintain WordPress website design and operation.Represent Harkins in-person at special events by coordinating attendees, taking relevant photos, and providing appropriate client-requested materials.Ability to interact and communicate professionally with executives, internal departments, corporate staff, site teams, clients, and partners.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, and market products for the Company.Implement and steward the social media strategy for the Company across multiple platforms (including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter).Develop cutting-edge, custom, and creative content for social media and other initiatives.Assist in developing marketing campaigns for various divisions and initiatives.Draft and maintain fact sheets, employee resumes, and creative material using Adobe Suite.Assist with the maintenance of the the marketing and business development contact system (Microsoft Dynamics) and generate mailing lists for marketing efforts.Maintain project information in Microsoft Dynamics.Place project and Company information in local/regional publications as directed.Assist with promotional material for the Company.Create program ads, post cards, announcements, etc. as requested.Maintain date ranking and awards information on company website.Assist with keeping website press section within a month of current information.Contribute to creation of press releases, media relations content, and other written materials.Ensure that company listings are current with all relevant information.Maintain current tradeshow material.Take still and video photography and recordings, collecting key names of attendees and event information, as required.Assist clients in achieving their goals with special events.Professionally serve trade partners and vendors.Attend required corporate meetings, training programs, and Harkins University seminars/webinars.Perform additional duties assigned.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business administration, or related discipline.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in communications or marketing.Basic knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent video editor.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to design and produce creative marketing content.Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, corporate departments, clients, etc. and assist with marketing needs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.Detail-oriented with the ability to drive projects to completion.Resourceful with problem solving skills using a proactive approach.Self-starter, strong work ethic, and a team player.A successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
