A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Controller in McLean, Virginia (VA).Summary:A Controller will be responsible for supporting several key functions in the Finance and Accounting department, focusing on the balancing and reconciling of general ledger and bank accounts, investment accounting, and financial and regulatory reporting. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Bank but will interact with other employees as appropriate for support in other functional areas of the bank.* CPA certification required* 5 or more years of general ledger accounting experience* Similar audit experience many also be considered suitable for this role* Advanced computer literacy including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel* Background in the financial services industry, and familiarity with accounting practices common to banks* Understanding of GAAP financial statements, and financial measurements that are common to banksKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
