You will be responsible for inquiries and research of amounts due for fiduciary funds. This will also include reporting on policy commissions and producer incentives. This role will be the main liaison with offshore teams, 3rd party vendors, carriers, and internal teams.CoverWallet, an Aon company is a fast-paced, growing firm that is the perfect place for a goal-oriented, hardworking individual who is looking to make a difference. We expect substantial growth over the next few years, which means you can expect plenty of opportunities for advancement.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for payments of refunds, commission payables, and carrier payables including identification and resolution of premium discrepanciesTimely reconciliation of balances and payments to agency bill carriersTimely reconciliation and follow up on balances due from direct bill carriersResponsible for carrier payable analysis and providing a resolution for outstanding issuesAnalyze information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile issues, and decompose high-level information into details to identify recurring imbalance driversPoint person for internal and external contacts for inquiriesPartner with CoverWallet operation and product teams to resolve policy system and data input errorsEnsure compliance with accounting policies and financial controlsOther responsibilities and enterprise duties as assignedQualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Mathematics preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of related experienceTechnical:Solid financial accounting and analytical skillsExperience in researching and resolving reconciliation variancesAdvanced Excel, Google sheets, and database analyticsInsurance Agency accounting experience preferredProfessional:Demonstrated excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skillsMagnificent attention to detail, with a strong lean-in and roll-up your sleeves demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environmentStrong customer service focus In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
