Overview: Provide Systems Administration support for the DOD Customer's enterprise network for daily operations, National Special Events, Continuity of Operation Plan exercises, and IT Customer Services and Network Operations. System Administrator will manage tasks relating to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) development, Power BI, SQL DB, Microsoft Azure, and STIG databases. Provide support for Active Directory (AD) Windows Server, and Windows Professional personal computer systems. These systems provide mission-essential support to Joint Force Headquarters National Capitol Region (JFHQNCR), Military District of Washington (HQ MDW) and Department of the Army (DA) Counterparts. Position will require routine interface with senior system users, and senior analysts both within and outside of the Directorate to include the supporting US Army Signal Network Enterprise Center. Responsibilities: Primary support is for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) Development and management of related services.Provide input into SharePoint technologies training and best practice guidance documentation.Provide the centralized administrative, clerical, documentation, and related functions.Monitor SharePoint capacity and performance, ensuring network operating systems are functioning property.Perform systems backups to ensure expedient restorations of services.Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within operational guidelines.Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, track, prioritize remediate or mitigate per policies.Strong knowledge of Active Directory design and Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.Identify opportunities and improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.Document processes and solutions.Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for Active Directory task and activities.Provide Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.Install/load operating system and application software. Required Experience/Qualifications: BA/BS DegreeInformation Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Or, equivalent years of combined experience and training.CertificationMicrosoft SharePointMicrosoft SQLMicrosoft Azure5+ years of relevant experienceMicrosoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS)Microsoft SQLMicrosoft Azure Microsoft Identity technologies including:Active Directory / Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)Certificate ServicesLightweight Directory ServicesMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA)Identity Governance AdministrationPrivileged Access ManagementSingle Sign On (SSO)Group PolicyMicrosoft Identity technologies includingExperience working with large AD enterprises to include DNS and DHCP technologies.Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and Microsoft technologies.Experience with Microsoft/Army 365 tenant administration.Familiarity with PowerApps and Flow development practices.Experience with Net core, M365 power stack, Azure service bus, and data gateway.Possess the appropriate baseline certifications to achieve DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II. Preferred Experience/Qualifications: Knowledge of C-Army Cloud a plus.Possess an ITIL(R) v3 or ITIL(R) 4 Foundation or a higher certification in either category.
