Description If you have a passion for Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new Coordinator opportunity, Robert Half has a great opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.Your responsibilities in this role- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations- Assess employee performance, including appraising pay scales, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite- Manage employee relations, which may include finding new ways to engage employees or coordinating sensitive conversations- Collaborate with employees, upper management, and third-party vendors- Develop a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections- Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department- Design templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Compare local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures- Collaborate with other HR team members to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees Requirements - Prior experience implementing and coordinating Open Enrollment is a plus- The responsibilities of this position will require you to be highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity- Prior HR experience in a Generalist capacity- Full cycle recruiting experience- Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)- Proficient with office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms- Excellent written and verbal business skills- BA or BS degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis- Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects- Strong understanding local, state and federal lawsWe want you to contact us today if you have the proper skill set and are able to start asap!-Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
