Position Overview: Avantus Federal is recruiting for a Software Automation Engineer to join our growing team in Columbia, MD. The Software Automation Engineer will perform software development, process automation, testing, and analysis utilizing an automation framework. Responsibilities: The Software Automation Engineer will perform software development, process automation, testing, and analysis utilizing an automation framework which exercises the functional requirements of customer provided cyber capabilities in a broad range of tailored operational environments. Our qualified candidate completes projects individually with time sensitive deadlines, while also collaborating with a team on long-term development efforts. Our Software Automation Engineers also communicate with customer developers, operators, Team Lead and other supported elements. Required Qualifications: Strong Python development experienceLinux Operating Systems or significant experience in automation with another Operating SystemMinimum of an active top secret clearance required with ability to obtain a polygraphThe status of applicable COVID-19 vaccination requirements under Executive Order 14042 are subject to change depending on applicable court orders and the course of ongoing litigation.
