COVID-19 Vaccination Required Seeking a Mid-level Information Systems Specialist with strong IT help desk experience to provide onsite desktop technical support and logistics. This contractor position will be in support of ARC's Desktop group and the analyst who fills this position will be required to work a set schedule between the hours of service of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm The successful candidate for this position is eligible to work 40 hours a week. REQUIREMENTS:? The candidate should demonstrate strong technical knowledge and experience with HP Desktops/Laptops/Tablets. The successful candidate will be expected to interface with internal customers and various technical support teams. At least seven years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of five years of experience providing general help desk support with working knowledge of opening and maintaining help desk cases using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as Request Tracker (RT), BMC Remedy, or ServiceNow.At least two years' experience in desktop/laptop troubleshooting and IT systems monitoring or operations support.Strong multi-tasking skills and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and oral communications are required as this position will interface with customers in-person, telephone, and email. Ability to accurately summarize and document customer interactions is required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to work with technical and non-technical staff at various levels of the organization. Familiar with maintaining documentation and communication via Microsoft Office solutions such as Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Advanced skills in Excel are a plus.Ability to troubleshoot and repair PC hardware.Ability to work independently and within a team. Desired Technical and Professional Experience HP Certified Technician BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fieldHDI or SDI CertificationITIL Certification GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and manage the secure disposal of legacy computer equipment Set up offices with the appropriate office technologies and peripherals.Assist in the management and relocation of ARC's physical computer inventoryPerform Tier 1 Help Desk or support functions as needed and when time permits
