Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Manages, leads and facilitates all phases, processes and aspects of the development and implementation of complex, medium to large strategic business or technology projects, programs or operational initiatives for a Ministry Organization (MO), Service Organization (SO), or Enterprise Service Line (ie Health Networks).Essential FunctionsKnows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision and Values in behaviors, practices and decisions.Plans, manages and oversees development and implementation of project, program or initiative phases. Manages complex, medium to large scope projects, programs and initiatives across the MO/SO/Enterprise Service Line and/or Region.Serves as a single point of contact for local, TIS and Home Office Executive leaders for project or program initiatives. Develops detailed plans that ensure MO, SO, or Enterprise Service Line culture, business, processes, workforce, and technology are addressed.Identifies project or program scope and objectives; defines team member roles and assigns activities and individual functional responsibilities. Identifies detailed tasks and timelines and manages revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Serves as a representative of the Information Services Director. Collaborates with local/regional MO, SO, or Enterprise Service Line Executive leaders and end users, TIS teams and Home Office teams to develop strategies and solutions, establish standards, influence outcomes, remove barriers and resolve issues. Apprises ISD and other key stakeholders of initiatives and outcomes.Manages and monitors projects, programs, or initiatives from initiation through delivery utilizing project management, process improvement, or change management methodologies to support the objectives and outcomes. Implements and enforces all standards and policies and procedures (ie, security, back-up, hardware/software redundancy services, disaster recovery plans, etc.) to reduce risk to the organization.Conducts post-project, program or initiative analysis for lessons learned and benefits captured.Manages customer relations to ensure customers are actively engaged throughout the project, program, or initiative life cycle.Works with customer to ensure business process workflows; training and communication plans are completed.Provides appropriate tools, training, guidance and necessary resources to resolve problems, avert potential risks and maintain customer engagement.Assesses project, program, or initiative issues.Develops resolutions and takes action to resolve issues to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Manages day-to-day problem resolution and troubleshooting throughout life cycle.Develops, monitors and manages project, program, or initiative budget (ie, analysis, reconciliation, forecasting, expenditure authorization, personnel needs, tracking and reporting) as required by TIS operations.Analyzes project, program, or initiative benefits and value add.Facilitates meetings with MO, SO, or Enterprise Service Line business owners and key stakeholders to identify project/program/initiative goals, scope and vision. Develops documents for project, program, or initiative based on scope requirements.Works to ensure Senior ISD or ISD, project/program teams, MO/SO/Enterprise Service Line executive leaders, TIS and Home Office executive leaders are apprised of project/ program status through routine communications, reports and status meetings.Identifies potential risks and devises plans to address potential risks to ensure project or program plan is met and customer expectations are reached.Manages vendor relationship and the integration of all vendor tasks.Tracks and reviews vendor deliverables related to project, program, or initiative to ensure successful implementation.Serves as a technical resource and provides analytical and practical guidance to project/program team and other Client Services Consultants.Maintains and enhances knowledge base, understanding, awareness and skill set of current information technology and health care IS in order to guide and advise MO, SO, or Enterprise Service Line customers regarding IT needs and strategic options.Participates in the evaluation and selection of new technology. Analyzes business needs and requirements and provides input to management and key decision-makers regarding purchases to ensure consistency with the MO, SO, or Enterprise Service Line's strategic goals, plans and organization standards.Leads additional operational initiatives defined by the Senior ISD or ISD that may include the review of IT policies and procedures, System Security responsibilities, Acquisitions, and other IT assessments.In the absence of, or by delegation, may assume responsibilities of the Senior Information Services Director or Information Services Director.Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionTrinity Health is a family of 115,000 colleagues and nearly 26,000 physicians and clinicians across 25 states.
