Apex Developer TOP SECRET required Onsite in DC OR Chantilly $120,000/year- $165,000/year (1099 is permitted) ALTA IT Services is looking for an APEX Developer with a Top- Secret Clearance to assist with the development and follow-on maintenance of a wide variety of applications which support Financial and Facilities operations for client's agency. Position Overview: We are looking for is looking for excellent communicator with ability to lead and work closely with client staff in identifying requirements and implementation of the prioritized requirements as identified by the product owner. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Continue development & testing activities to support budget/procurement integration enhancement activities, as prioritized by Government.Coordinate Government to gather and document requirements for new enhancements, as prioritized by Government.Troubleshoot and mitigate/resolve reported issues, as prioritized by Government.Generate and maintain overall BASE architecture; design and build the "back-end" database and data structures; design/code the functions/procedures for the application; design and build data-driven interactive web-based applications using Oracle Application Express (Apex).Design and conduct development level testing and support demo and training activities for BASE deliverables, as prioritized by Government.Administer production database; monitor error messages, bug & problem reportsArchitect, design and build prototype applications as proofs-of-concept or to demonstrate enhanced functionality Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Oracle Application Express (version 5.1 or higher) application development experienceWorking knowledge of Oracle DDL syntax and PL/SQL languageUnderstanding of Agile development methodologyWork with all levels within the organization, from leadership and senior management to the workforceTest functionality of and interactions between enterprise financial systems from an end user perspective.4 years total of minimum experience, have a bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience as substitute2 minimum years of related experience.
