Successful candidate will primarily provide LINUX SA support and some Windows OS support to include but not limited to: The installation, configuration and supporting various missionsystems and core services such as NFS, DHCP, LDAP, etc. Install new / rebuild existing servers (both physical and virtual) and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies. Interface with site personnel, developers and integration and test team members.
