Description:Our client is looking for a Senior Backend ETL/Datawarehouse Tester to join their team. This team supports a financial Database used by the firms. In this role you will primarily working within a datawarehouse environment and helping the team with backend ETL Testing as well as testing the performance of related appications and enhancements. Top requirements:- financial background experience- Backend, ETL testing- SQL experience The Senior QA Analyst will execute tests the verify performance improvements based upon architectural and software modifications . He/She collaborates effectively with the development team members, and test environment technical support staff in the execution of tests to verify improved performance. This position supports testing efforts of medium to large complexity. Overall 8+ years of experience of IT experience with minimum of 4+ years of ETL/ Data Warehouse Testing and at least 2 years of experience in testing performance of applications. He/She should have experience in writing SQL (medium to complex) strong data warehouse and BI knowledge. Experience with Oracle databases, Stored Procedures, UNIX/LINUX and BI tools like OBIEE, etc. Experience using HP ALM for defect management. At least 3 - 5 years experience of working on financial services applications. Solid time management and prioritization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Summary: The main function of a QA Analyst is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.
