  • Develop Departmental strategies, policies, procedures, and guidance via collaboration with Bureaus, offices and oversight agencies in developing and implementing a Treasury-wide cybersecurity architecture program which meets the diverse business needs of Bureaus and offices while promoting a customer-centric approach to delivering services and support to both internal and external Treasury customers and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and oversee development and implementation of the Department's cybersecurity architecture across all bureaus, and will coordinate associated strategy, policy formulation, budgeting, and program execution.
  • Serve as the senior consultant regarding enterprise cybersecurity architecture, Information Technology standards, and information systems engineering activities, which directly affect the Department's ability to protect its sensitive business information, technology, and associated business processes.

    You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

    Specialized experience for the GS-15: Specialized experience is one year of experience at the GS-14 level or equivalent in other public or private sectors. Specialized experience includes managing a software development team in order to integrate goals and priorities into programs while balancing change and continuity, business process improvement, and ensuring accountability.

    Examples of such experience could include hands on experience working with:

    - Information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability architecture, design and implementing Cyber Security tools; OR
    - Plan architecture changes and help create project management recommendations; OR- Software programming design , development and implementation; OR
    - Experience analyzing, reviewing and making recommendations to senior executives regarding policy, programs and procedures that impact the office and organization; OR
    - Experience working on and managing enterprise scale projects, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for enterprise wide customers; OR
    - Developing and implementing a department-wide cybersecurity program; OR
    - Serving as the senior consultant regarding Information Technology standards and information systems engineering activities.

    In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
