Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience preparing testimony (both written and oral statements) for the Surgeon General for each Congressional hearing, and provides assistance to other BUMED principals when they appear before Congressional Committees or brief Congressional Staff members.Experience obtaining necessary information from agency officials, evaluates for impact on Navy Medicine and consistency with established policy, and coordinates changes and security reviews as required.Experience ensuring thorough preparation of Navy SG, senior leadership and/or staff prior to briefings.
