The Associate Manager will provide the coordination and analysis of monthly actual reporting, budgets, forecasts and 5-year strategic plan for the division. The position will help explain and build the narrative required to drive insights necessary for informed business decisions, manage risks and opportunities and achieve business objectives. The Associate Manager will focus on providing timely and accurate business analytics by building strong working relationships with key cross functional partners within the division, O Group and corporate. Accountability for successful strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes for the divisionManage the preparation of quarterly projections and annual budgets of P, balance sheet and cash flowCollaborate with PMO team to drive alignment across business unitsProvide financial support and guidance to our business development partner.Assist in the development of business cases and complex financial models for a variety of business development opportunities.Prepare presentations and provide critical input to the division's Senior Leadership Team (SLT)Responsible for month end closing process for the division and review with O groupEducation: This position requires an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance. Master's degree, CPA or CMA preferredWhat You Need:Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree and/or CPA preferred6+ years of experience in accounting/finance rolesA "businessperson" with a specialty in Finance & AccountingIndustry experience with a company that makes and sells products.Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and long-term plans.Experience managing accounting functions, including month and year end financial closings and related analysis.Ability to work as part of a team and interface with others across all level of the organizationStrong problem solving and analytical abilities including prior financial modelingWorking knowledge of integrated financial systems such as: Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Hyperion, etc.Travel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
