In line with the Global Corporate Communications strategy, the Marketing and Communications Manager will create, implement and oversee communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products and that contribute to the development of the consolidated image of ABL as a global organization. The individual will support the organization and participation in events such as trade shows and conferences in the US. Marketing scope (Global):Under the responsibility of the Head of Communications and in coordination with the Head of BD and Head of Immunology, they will perform market research and market analyses on current trending products and support sales teams, develop messaging and market positioning around products, will drive global campaigns to generate awareness and demand for our CDMO and Immunological services portfolio.Responsible for Marketing Communications to achieve the company's short-range and long-range business development objectives, promoting ABL to target markets in the bio/pharmaceutical market segments through advertising, online presence, conference attendance, and brand managementUtilize your knowledge of global market dynamics, customer needs, and business opportunities in the viral vectors CDMO business to develop and implement mid- and long-term strategies. A strong focus will be on market intelligence activities around our integrated viral vectors & immunological testing value chain offering. Interactive cooperation with Senior Management, R, Commercial, BD, and CTO, for executing your tasks and global and regional marketing activities will be a key component of this role. Analyzing ABL's competitors, you will follow up on their communication, investment, and partnership strategies as a critical component of your role. Meetings are to be organized on a regular frequency with the BD and upper management teams. Through an in-depth survey and analysis of the competitors, you will identify ABL's key differentiators to be reflected in the communication you will significantly contribute to creating and improving.Support website optimization focusing on the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy. Responsible for optimizing the use of all marketing channels, maximizing their efficiency and the consistency of their respective messages.Develop, implement, and monitor the efficiency of the internal communication processes.Adapt or create internal communication materials/campaigns.Contribute to drafting marketing documents (such as CDMO & CRO service offerings presentation, flyers, and white papers).Support the organization of webinars to promote ABL's specific expertise.Manage day-to-day marketing operations providing ABL's Sales, Management, and technical staff with information, logistics, and communications support to win business. Manage ABL's catalog order, fulfillment, and tracking activities; implement growth-oriented processes.Support and coordinate participation in significant industry tradeshows in the US.Under the responsibility of the CTO (reporting to CEO) and Global Head of BD & Sales, support market trends analyses and create a business plan to enter new markets.While Technical Business Intelligence is integrated within the BD department, the Communication and Marketing Manager will help the BD Managers prepare for their customer meetings by analyzing their pipeline and scientific and financial communication.The Marketing and Communication Manager identifies and puts in place the mechanism to leverage the individual network of ABL's collaborators to create awareness of ABL's service offering and expertise to create more attractiveness from potential customers.Other duties as needed.Job RequirementsMaster's degree in biological sciences is preferred - eg, biochemistry, biology, bioanalytical; an additional degree in business administration or marketing is a plusMinimum of 5 years' experience in marketing and communications Experience with a life sciences company, biologics preferred, plusWorking knowledge of project management Background in design and copywriting is a plusExperience in market analysisFamiliarity with product marketing tactics Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail-orientedCreativityAnalytical mindset and strong quantitative skillsTakes initiativeWorks well with all types of people - Excellent teamwork skillsSolid problem-solving and time-management abilitiesRemains calm under pressureTravel ExpectationABL, Inc. participates in E-Verify, an Internet-based system of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Social Security Administration, that allows us to determine an employee's eligibility to work in the United States.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Candidate must meet all the requirements of our Company Occupational Health program as directed by the Occupational Health Consultant to include pre-employment physical and drug screen.Candidates are encouraged to submit a resume and a cover letter outlining background and experience as it relates to the position requirements and salary history/requirements.
