Qualifications:Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two years of accounting experience, preferably in project accounting; or five plus years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Full-time accounting position with a focus on accounts payable and receivables for a growing global company. This position is responsible for accurate and timely performance of the following duties.Essential Position Responsibilities:Receive vendor invoices, ensure accuracy, and match to purchase ordersVoucher all items, ensuring accuracy of vendor name and address, pay dates, account and subaccount coding, project coding, etcReconcile credit card statementPrepare invoices for check run on a weekly basisMaintain accounts payable filesRespond to vendor inquiriesMaintain internally generated purchase orders, ensuring that they comply with company policiesInvoice clients promptly upon milestone completion, ensuring accuracyWeekly collections of past due accountsPrepare analysis of accounts, as requiredAssist in monthly closingsAssist with capital expense tracking and special projects, as necessaryAdditional Position Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned.Additional Requirements:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Interpersonal Skills - Maintains confidentiality, works well alone and within a team, communicates well with all company employeesOrganizational Support - Follows policies and procedures, completes administrative tasks correctly and on time, supports organization's goals and valuesQuality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughnessPC Skills - Demonstrate above average skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordWork may require the use of PPE (personal protective equipment)Professional Responsibilities:(if applicable)Attends continuing education courses, as appropriate.#PharmaJobs#LI-MV1Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
