Communications and Marketing Coordinator
ALTA IT Services is staffing a 5-month contract for a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to support a leading health insurance customer. He or she will need to be detail-oriented and comfortable working with systems with a minimum of 3 years of experience.Communications and Marketing Coordinator Owings Mills, MD (100% Remote) 5-Month Contract (with possibility of extension) Pay: up to $40/hr W2Responsibilities: *Organizes and coordinates annual updates to open enrollment materials, marketing materials, letter templates, and websites. *Updates materials using a content management system. *Create, manage, and deliver marketing communication materials that are accurate, on budget, and on time. *Submit requests to the Graphics team with all required changes and provide clear direction on copy, branding, and overall look and feel of materials. *Understands the technical aspects of key marketing systems (print on demand, digital asset management, content management systems, project management software, etc.) used to streamline, strategize, generate, distribute, and report. *Coordinate and facilitate communication projects across various stakeholders and act as a liaison to communicate activities. *Work with cross-functional teams to obtain feedback and/or approval on materials and communications. *Manage project initiatives crossing multiple segments and products (task, sequencing, milestones, risk, and contingencies) to ensure communication projects are launched on time and within time constraints. *Acts as the point of contact between the client base to ensure all communications provided are thorough, accurate, and timely. *Collaborate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas, research collateral distribution, and ensure delivery of materials. *Develop SOPs as needed for materials and projects as needed. *Maintain a history of materials including dates and reasons materials were modified or removed from distribution.Abilities Skills: *A proven track record of project management, including work plan development and management. *Thorough understanding of marketing and sales strategies with keen attention to detail. *Excellent communication and organizational skills. *The ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks simultaneously, sometimes under pressure and often with tight deadlines. *Ability to establish strong relationships across departments, and with leaders at all levels, and an understanding of client needs, the consumer experience, marketing strategy, and operational capabilities. *Familiarity and understanding of content management systems. *Familiarity and understanding of work and project management software, such as Adobe Workfront. *Must be professional, organized, enthusiastic, and a team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
