ResponsibilitiesThis opening is for a recently awarded 5 year program that delivers a wide set of capabilities across the enterprise to include data management, data delivery, high ingest rate cloud architectures, and analytic platforms.Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Conducts research and evaluate technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems. Ensure products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods. Verify and validate systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis. Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements. Review test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements. Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements. Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials. QualificationsBasic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree Ten (10) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Ability to manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) Ability to contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation Ability to assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components Ability to define the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan Active TS/SCI security clearnce with a current polygraph is required Preferred Qualifications Experience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale systems Experience in leading agile development models Experience integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors Experience developing and deploying storage within clustered or cloud environments Experience planning and integrating secure compliant solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directives Knowledge and experience with HDFS, HADOOP, or HBase/Accumulo BIG TABLE #MPOJobs #LI-SG1 #PeratonRoyalMove OverviewPeraton drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
