Description/Duties: Maintains expert knowledge of ICD/ICS 705 and 12 FAH-6 OSPB standards. Must be able to draft and defend comprehensive technical reports to government officials pertaining to technical security compliance issues. Must be able to identify and offer expert solutions to physical, technical, and organizational security weaknesses and program needs. Provides subject matter expertise reviewing Congressionally-mandated certification packages, and assists with implementation of building, acoustic, and radio frequency (RF) security policies.Requirements/Qualifications:Must have a current US Government final TOP SECRET Personnel Security Clearance and be able to qualify for SCI access.Must be eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals. Three years of experience in construction, maintenance, and facility management required.Must have a Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, certification as an electrical tradesman or in a similar area of study, or have an appropriate combination of education and experience.Must be able to understand and interpret building codes, blueprints and specifications, foreign and domestic construction methods, and other construction documents.Must have advanced understanding of Intelligence Community standards, Overseas Security Policy Board (OSPB) technical and physical security standards, and agency regulations. Must have subject matter expertise in and be able to give guidance for improving OSPB and Department of State technical security standards.Must be able to interact with groups and individuals outside own organization and/or agency. Must be able to participate in interagency working groups.Must be able to communicate with coworkers and senior managers in written, electronic, and verbal formats. Must possess strong technical and report writing skills.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.Must demonstrate a good attitude and the ability to work as a member of a team.Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.Must have a strong attention for detail and be able to multi-task efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.Must possess knowledge of acoustics and radio frequency fundamentals.Travel Requirements:May be required to travel OCONUS to conduct installation, training or maintenance at diplomatic facilities. OCONUS travel may include critical threat locations around the world with austere living conditions.
