The Technology Solutions & Services team is expanding and broadening our solutions delivery team. As such, we are seeking to build a cohesive team of solution delivery professionals capable of supporting a mixture of both project-based solution deliveries as well as supporting multi-year sustainment contracts. The Building People are seeking qualified Solution Developer to support immediate Archibus solution delivery as well as other COTS solution technologies to support a growing portfolio of federal government, local government, non-profit, and commercial customers - all while operating remotely.At The Building People, a Solution Developer primarily performs software development, integration, and administration tasks related to the delivery of technology solutions and services. As skills allow, they may perform tasks such as project management, business analysis, user training, technical writing, data entry, or more. They may guide and assist Solution Analysts, Solution Support Specialists, and others. This technical and hands-on position requires work both within a team as well as individual work settings contributing to all aspects of solution implementation and support for assigned customers. Some out-of-town travel may be required, as projects dictate.Responsibilities/Duties:Task Execution: Analyzing user requirements to derive software design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features and functionality Customizing and/or Enhancing of applications, including GUI development/customization, report development, and script development Data mapping, manipulating, and migrating among various database systems and enterprise applications Debugging software and correcting defects to assure quality of deliverables prior to execution of User Acceptance Testing Supporting off-hour and on-call duties, as needed Participating in planning and requirements gathering sessions Resolving technical support issues when escalated Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting applications in local, staging, and production environments Managing source code and revisions/changes using GIT and other related Appling your technical knowledge and subject matter experience to complete assigned tasks on time, within budget, and respecting the scope provided Collaborating with team members on configuration needsLeadership: Providing technical leadership on projects Providing recommendations for improving documentation and software development processes Communicating and collaborating in a professional manner Coordinating with other Solution Delivery team members to ensure solutions are developed per customer requirements and specificationsAdministrative: Passionately updating task tracking system and knowledge base Staying current with trends relating to technology and subject matter applicable to the job Valuing and protecting company, colleague, and customer data Operating within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client required cyber security data and operational processes Operating within a home office environment that provides adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity Skills & Requirements Required Experience & Skills:Management: 3-5+ year experience in the support of client-based solution delivery, including Archibus 1+ years working from home or remote location, with minimal supervision, successfully System Development Life Cycle methodologies and/or Software Development Methodologies such as Scrum and KanbanTechnical: 3+ years of Archibus v23 or later Microsoft Windows and Office Suite Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML, SQL Server programming Database-driven web applications for business, corporate, and government users Role-based security models IDE for code development Jira, Confluence, BitBucket Modern cloud computing environments Triage bug reports and perform basic troubleshooting of computer hardware and softwarePersonal: Self-motivation and desire to always deliver with excellence Organized with ability to multitask High attention to detail Excellent problem solving and analytical skills US Citizenship Ability to Meet US Federal Gov't Guidelines for COVID 19 Vaccination compliance Ability to meet Federal & DoD Gov't security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screeningPreferred Experience & Skills: 2+ years working from home or remote location, with minimal supervision, successfully IBM Tririga and Maximo, Nuvolo, FM:Systems, PLANON, or other IWMS/CMMS/EAM software jQuery, ExtJs, React, Sencha, APIs, Web Services SQL Server and Oracle Eclipse BIRT, Crystal Reports, Tableau Installing and Configuring Tomcat, Apache, or IIS Mobile application development SSO, MFA, SAML Managing SSL Certificates and DNS Sensors and IoT data and applications Windows Server administration AWS/Azure Cloud Citrix Autocad LISP Esri ArcGISRequired Education: 4+ years of relevant experience with an AA/AS degreePreferred Education: 3+ years of relevant experience with a BS degree Education/Certification in Scrum/Agile, ITIL, or SDLC Qualifications ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONCompetitive benefits for eligible employees include: Medical & Rx Dental Vision Flexible Spending Accounts 401(k) Retirement Plan Life Insurance/AD Long Term Disability and Short-Term Disability Paid Time Off Holiday PayAll positions require a background check after acceptance of our offer.
